God in Exile: interfaith perspectives on welcoming refugees was an interactive panel session chaired by SWF Senior Research Officer Lia Shimada, editor of the recently published ‘Mapping Faith: Theologies of Migration and Community‘. She was joined by Mohamed Omar, Yvonne Green and Julie Khovacs. Together they shared their insights into some theologies and practicalities of welcoming refugees – of welcoming God in Exile.
